Victoria (1837-1901), Sovereign, 1842, 'Closed 2', first small young head left, W.W. raised on truncation, rev. crowned normal shield in wreath, (Marsh 25; EGC 1061; S.3852). Near extremely fine, remaining mint lustre.
Reverse :The Ensigns Armorial within a plain shield and surmounted by a crown. A branch of laurel is shown on each side of the shield. At the bottom the Thistle, Rose and Shamrock are placed with a small flower stop each side.
